Good afternoon, I am getting back from taking out Carolina and a mini workout. I have to admit the weather in NC is nice to be outside so much. Carolina was a crazy dog yesterday, since she was at the kennel for the week while Brendan and I were in Antigua.
Antigua was beautiful. The weather in the mid/high 80's and the water was the same. I did 6 dives. 2 on monday/tuesady/wednesday. I saw the usual caribbean marine life and did 2 dives that included cleaning stations. that was really neat. the dives were rather shallow 55 feet was the deepest we went. I did see 2 nurse sharks and they were sleeping!
Thursday, brendan and I did a catamoran (sp?) ride around the island. we snorkeled at lunch and I saw an octopus in its den. that was cool. :)
It was good to spend time with Brendan. Since moving here i have spent time with Brad and Tami and my mom is coming Christmas week and my dad is going to be here friday for the weekend. I have seen a lot of family. :)

well, the weeks are starting to really fly here in Charlotte (CLT). I am working long hours and going to the gym. I am not into the bar scene so I thought about how i could get out... so, I went to the animal shelter and picked out a DOG! Carolina is a lab mix, approx. 1 years, blond/red coat. She is really cute. I have been shopping for doggie supplies since i picked her out on Saturday. She is at the vet today, getting some "stuff" done and I pick her up tomorrow.
I head down to b&t on saturday and that will be our first road trip. i am sure it will be fun for t-day with mom, brendan and the johnsons. then after t-day Brendan and I booked a trip to antigua. I will send out pictures when we get back. we hope to do lots of diving.

well, not much new going on here. i am waiting for the cable guy to come and fix the phone/cable lines in the apartment. i am almost completely unpacked. i still have some dishes to wash and some ironing. i despise ironing.

work is really fun. i am keeping really busy. there is so much going on it being 4Q and year end. i really like my boss, he is very laid back and is letting me run things. i am orgainzing 2 holiday drives for our floor, toys for tots and adopt-a-troop. i am also getting ready to send a holiday email to my golf volunteers for 2007. that starts getting busy soon. i have been in touch with the PGA a lot since i moved down here.

I am hoping to go to B&T's this weekend. it will get me out of the house. the family, mom, B, B&T will all be here on the 22/23 for thanksgiving. should be interesting - I'M COOKING! wearing fire resistant clothes, rain gear for the sprinkler system and the fire dept. on speed dial might be a good idea.

Brendan and i just booked a vaca to Antigua. i am hooked on scuba diving in the caribbean and since brendan got certified in Australia we decided to go in december. we will be gone dec. 2-8th. can't wait!
